A well over due update.....everything steps up a gear as the start of the season approaches!31/1/2013 Firstly, sorry for the lack of news and blogs recently! I hope you all had a great christmas and happy new year :) We are all getting very excited about the year ahead at SGEventing head quarters and have lots planned..... Those of you that follow me on Twitter or Facebook may have seen that on the 27th December 2012 I passed my trailer test!! I was so pleased and now can take the horses out when ever I want :) Because of this we have lots and lots of training sessions and competitions coming up soon! As a reward for passng I decided to sell my burgundy trailer and get a black one so we are all looking very smart! We are having some graphics designed for the trailer too so if you see us at a competition feel free to come say 'Hi' :) With christmas and new year out the way it was the was so mme to crack on with work and we had a new member to the 'four-legged' team by the name of Puzzle. Puzzle is a 6 year old 14.1hh and he came to be produced for sale on behalf of his owner. I loved riding him, he was so much fun and a super pony for the future in any discipline. Puzzle's ability was noticed by many and he was only with me for 5 days before we delivered him to his new home with the Evans' and we wish them thhim and hope they have a much fun with him as us! Milli posing for the camera..... We went to Saddlesdane at the beginning of January for a bit of SJ practice. They hire out the course every Thursday so it's a great chance to practice course jumping! I had a few coaching sessions and met some lovely new Clients and then jumped Milli and Hector. They both jumped really well :) Milli is now registered with BS and we are hoping to make our affiliated jumping debut this weekend....how exciting! We were just starting to step everything up a gear and start the horses canter work but then the snow hit....! We got the very exciting news a few days ago that Ultimate Images will be supporting SG Eventing for another season so there will be lots of HD pictures from many training sessions and competitions for you all to look at this year :) So, what do we have planned....
Well as I type this i'm sat having a quick coffee before heading out to ride a few and then will be getting the trailer ready as we are off SJ training at Saddlesdane this evening. I am coaching first and then jumping Roxie and Milli. We then have a day at home on Friday before a weekend of competing begins.....we have dressge on Saturday with Hector and this will be his first show so we can't wait to get him out! Then on Sunday I will be back at Saddlesdane with Milli and Roxie for the BS affiliated show. It has been ages since I jumped affiliated so we are very excited about getting back out comepting. Talking of excitement, I am just about to do my first event entry of the season......EEEEEEEEK SO EXCITED!! Well that's about all for now, but keep checking back as we will have lots of pictures and videos from training sessions and competitions coming up in the near future! I will also be holding some XC clinics soon at various locations including Littleton Manor, so if you or somebody you know would be interested in coming please Contact Me for more details..... So, until next time, SG Eventing X Keep Calm & Canter On
